Welcome to the 17th annual meeting of the FSRUO!
The event will be held at the University of Jyväskylä on December 3-4, 2026. It brings together experts and potential users of synchrotron radiation, neutrons, and free-electron lasers. The meeting offers a multidisciplinary overview of state-of-the-art research carried out with these methods, highlighted by inspiring keynote presentations and with opportunities for social interaction and discussions. The meeting is open to everyone interested in these topics.

Registration and abstract submission
Registration and abstract submission are now open, and the links are provided below. Please note that also for those submitting an abstract, a separate registration is required.
Deadline of abstract submission November 1, 2026. The abstract should follow a template file that can be downloaded here, and the file name should start with your last name, e.g. “[lastname]_abstract.pdf”. The abstract submission is done through this form.
Deadline for registration November 15, 2026. The registration and optional dinner payment are done through this form.
Registration fees
The event is free of charge for anyone to attend. A fee of 50 € is charged during registration for the dinner on December 3.
